Founder and CEO
Born in 1990, I have trusted my gut to guide my heart to what is right in the world. With a certain and devastating obsession with cars for as long as I can remember, I became obsessed with design. Not coming from known gear heads, I always made do with the limited resources I had. I almost never found myself struck by any design or technology in particular. I found the true love of what it meant to drive instead of what I was currently driving. And because I was never completely satisfied with what I was driving, I had to find new loves in life to get me to a point in the future where I would truly love life.
I recall a specific moment in early high school where I was talking to a classmate about cars. Not knowing the difference between a supercharger and a turbo charger, I spent the rest of the day in a distant place — the back of my mind. Embarrassed is all that I can think of to describe how I felt. It was a simple explanation of a fact that I felt I should have known. This started a deep yearning in my life to pursue, without embarrassment, doing anything and everything to get to a moment of recovery where I could feel fulfilled by the knowledge of something I loved so deeply.
The short story is; like my father and others I have grown to respect, I have collected many skills, but the most important is the ability to listen well and do my best to understand.
This, in its simplicity, is not only the key to business but also personal understanding. Once you find how to incorporate the listening and understanding as best you can, I think you by all means have the right to become… You guessed it!
